The Diligence of Deliverance

There is an ancient wisdom as old as the hills, it is enshrined in your dusty old Bible, and should be written in your heart…

The Israelites knew that…

There is a process to Gods deliverance…

It does not come easy nor does it come cheap…

When Dr. King led a movement…led a people out of bondage he understood this…

Dr  king knew, you get on your face and you cry out to God…and you cry out to God…and you cry out to God…

He knew you hold a sit in, you have a worship service, you read the scripture and …

…You cry out to God, You cry out to God, you cry out to God…

He demonstrated that you hold a march, you have a rally, you reach out for others but all the while…

…You cry out to God, you cry out to God, you cry out to God

Dr King understood that in land that claims the God should come first—you can not change a man while he is still under a hood…

Dr King knew that the only way for the land of the free to be free for you but also for me….

That there is a process, a devotion, a diligence to deliverance…

…And only then can a man be a man who is finally, truly,  forever free…

So when all of the world seems to be falling back under the hood why don’t we do as Dr King did and stand where he stood…

 …..stop, look, and listen but mostly …cry out to God, cry out to God, Cry out to God.

…For if we have done the above, no matter what happens whether we stand or end up nailed to the wood. One final thing in this life should nay must be understood…

That like Dr King , we will be able to say our life was poured out before the throne…
